Journal - Photo shoot

Journal - Photo shoot

My photo shoot did not go as I had originally planned as I had planned to do it in the studio ay woods browning where i could have shot against a plain black background with superior lighting sources which would have made it look more professional and easier to edit. However I overcame this by having the villain the main centre piece of my magazine and that would be the back of him and therefore did not need much lighting. The camera I used was the same one I'd have used at Woods Browning so in terms of the quality of the image it is no worse than it would have been if things had gone as originally planned.

The other major problem I faced was that Merran was unavailable for the day I needed to photograph him. However, I once again overcame this as his face was never seen in the trailer so I took another person of similar build and photographed them in the costume instead. I believe this has worked very well as when looking at the magazine cover you would not know that there is a difference between the two actors.
